A 5-year-old child was struck by a car on Friday evening in Lauderhill.
Deputies from the Lauderhill Police Department responded to a scene on Northwest 56th Boulevard and West Oakland Park.
The 5-year-old was taken to the hospital with minor abrasions by Lauderhill Fire Rescue.
There has been no word on his current condition.
