A 65-year-old man died after striking a parked vehicle that was experiencing mechanical issues on Saturday.
According to a crash report from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, at about 5:27 p.m., A was traveling south on U.S. Highway 27 when, for reasons unknown, he drove onto the west shoulder and struck the rear of a parked semi-truck.
The crash report states that the front of A’s 2006 Nissan struck the rear of the semi-trucks trailer.
A was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash.
His next of kin has been notified.
