One person has died following a traffic crash that occurred Thursday afternoon in Coral Springs, authorities confirmed.
Sky 10 was above the area of Coral Ridge Drive and Wiles Road at about 2:15 p.m. as a yellow tarp covered a body in the roadway.
A maroon-colored SUV with its airbags deployed was spotted a short distance away in the intersection along with a motorcycle on its side.
Coral Springs police later confirmed that the crash was reported at about 1:44 p.m.
Police said the victim killed in the crash is a man, but his identity has not yet been released.
All westbound lanes on Wiles Road were shut down from Northwest 110th Avenue to Coral Ridge Drive during the investigation.
No other details were immediately released.
