Motorcyclist dies after hitting tractor-trailer in Orange County, FHP says

A Kissimmee man is dead after an early-morning motorcycle crash involving a tractor-trailer in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 2 a.m. Sunday on Taft Vineland Road near Sidney Hayes Road.

According to an FHP report, the motorcyclist failed to stop and ran into the tractor-trailer in front of him. The motorcyclist died at the scene, and the truck driver was not injured, troopers said.

The crash remains under investigation.
