1 dead in 7-vehicle crash near Ocoee intersection, police say

The Ocoee Police Department is investigating a deadly multi-vehicle crash that killed one person and injured several others.

The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday on northbound Clarke Road near A.D. Mims Road.

According to police, the crash involved seven vehicles and 10 people. Speed was also most likely a contributing factor.

One person was killed in the crash. Two people were transported to the hospital, and a total of seven people received medical treatment. A section of Clarke Road was shut down for hours following the crash before reopening.

The investigation remains active. Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has additional information to contact Sgt. William Wagner at WWagner@ocoee.org or 407-554-7195.
