Officer-involved shooting in Bonifay under investigation

Law enforcement is investigating an officer-involved shooting in Bonifay on Friday morning.

According to the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred on Alex Brown Road. All deputies are reported to be safe.

Florida Department of Law Enforcement has been requested and is responding to conduct an independent investigation.

Deputies reported that at this time no additional information will be released.
