Man injured after pickup hits guardrail, overturns in Escambia County

A man was injured Friday afternoon after his pickup truck crashed into a guardrail and overturned in Escambia County.

Troopers say a Chevrolet Silverado left the southbound lanes on Highway 29 near Molino and collided with a guardrail at a pull-off area before overturning onto its side.

Firefighters quickly extricated the driver, who was taken to an area hospital, according to NorthEscambia.com.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.

Escambia County Fire Rescue’s Molino and Cantonment stations and Escambia County EMS responded.
