All crossings reopen after freight train crashes into SUV in Delray Beach

All railroad crossings have reopened after a freight train struck an SUV in Delray Beach on Thursday evening.

According to the Delray Beach Police Department, officers responded at about 7:20 p.m. to a train-versus-vehicle crash on the Florida East Coast Railway tracks at George Bush Boulevard.

Police said no injuries were reported.

The crash temporarily closed the railroad crossings at Northeast Fourth Avenue, Northeast Second Avenue and Northeast 14th Avenue. Drivers were urged to avoid the area and use alternate routes until the crossings reopened.
