1 in custody, 2 hospitalized after shooting on Hollywood street as detectives investigate

Rescue crews took two people to the hospital after a shooting on a Hollywood street that caused a major law enforcement response in the area, police said.

Hollywood Police units responded to the 2700 block of Arthur Street, early Sunday morning.

Upon arrival, officers found the two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

Investigators said one person was taken into custody.

Paramedics rushed them to the hospital. As of Monday morning, their conditions are unknown.

7News cameras captured a man put in handcuffs and officers surrounding another person on the street.

It’s unclear what charges the person who was taken into custody is facing.
