7 hospitalized after bus, vehicle collide in Lauderdale Lakes

Seven people were transported to local hospitals Thursday morning following a bus crash in Lauderdale Lakes, first responders confirmed to Local 10 News.

According to Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue officials, the crash was reported just after 7 a.m. in the 3800 block of West Oakland Park Boulevard.

First responders said the bus and another vehicle collided.

Seven people who were involved in the crash were evaluated at the scene before being transported to local hospitals for further treatment.

Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies said the people injured included the driver of the vehicle, five bus passengers and a man who was retrieving his bicycle from the front of the bus.

First responders said all injuries were believed to be non-life-threatening.

The circumstances leading up to the crash remain under investigation.
