Police search for woman after 1 injured in St. Pete hit-and-run

Police are searching for a woman who hit a man on his e-bike before hitting a car wash sign and fleeing, the St. Petersburg Police Department announced.

A man was riding his e-bike heading northbound in the 200 block of 34th Street North around 1:21 a.m. when he was hit by a Honda Accord.

After hitting the victim, the vehicle lost control and crashed into a Big Dan’s Car Wash sign at 220 34th Street North.

According to officers, a woman exited the vehicle and left on foot. She has not been located at this time.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and has suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
