Man dead after shooting at apartment complex on Pine Forest Road in Escambia County

A man is dead after a shooting Monday morning at an Escambia County apartment complex.

It happened around 2:55 a.m. at the Madison Shores complex on Pine Forest Road near Mandeville Lane.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies found a male deceased upon arrival.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.

The sheriff’s office says the shooting may have been domestic violence-related.
