Man sought after stabbing another man at bus stop outside Galleria Mall

Police are looking for a man who stabbed another man at a bus stop outside the Galleria Mall in Fort Lauderdale on Monday, officials said.

The two men had been involved in an argument at the bus stop before one pulled out a knife and slashed the other’s arm, Fort Lauderdale Police officials said.

Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue said crews responded and transported the victim to a local hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Officers were at the scene and had a portion of the bus stop closed off by yellow crime scene tape. A large amount of blood could be seen on the ground nearby.

The suspect fled the scene, police said. The incident remains under investigation.
