FHP investigates I-95 shooting near Glades Road; victim treated for leg wound

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a shooting that occurred on I-95 by Glades Road.

FHP says that on Monday, one individual sustained a gunshot wound to the leg and was brought to Delray Medical Center for treatment. The details of the shooting — or why it occurred — are unknown at this time.

According to FHP, investigators are attempting to locate a gray pickup truck that they believe was involved in the shooting. No license plate information is available, however.

FHP says additional information will be released once it becomes available and is confirmed through an investigation. Anyone with information regarding the incident is encouraged to contact FHP at 347, and individuals wishing to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers.
