Pedestrian dies after being hit by car in Lehigh Acres

A pedestrian has died after they were hit by a car at Lee Boulevard and Archdale Street in Lehigh Acres on Tuesday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

FHP says that the pedestrian was injured, transported to the hospital and later pronounced deceased.

FHP says that the crash is still under investigation.
