Firefighters respond to partially submerged truck in canal in southwest Cape Coral

On Friday, firefighters with the Cape Coral Fire Department responded to a partially submerged truck.

The truck was submerged in a canal at the 1700 block of Southwest 29th Street.

Divers were sent into the water to look for any other people and were able to confirm that the driver of the truck, who was out of the vehicle, was the only occupant.
