Man stabbed during altercation with woman in Pompano Beach

A man was hospitalized and a woman was arrested after a stabbing that occurred Saturday night in Pompano Beach, according to deputies.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, someone called 911 around 7 p.m. to report a possible stabbing near the 200 block of Northwest 14th Street.

Deputies responded and made contact with a man suffering from a stab wound. Pompano Beach Fire Rescue also responded and transported the victim to an area hospital. His injuries were listed as non-life-threatening.

According to investigators, the victim was involved in an altercation with a woman when the stabbing occurred.

On Sunday, deputies arrested F 37, on charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon domestic violence and pretrial release condition violation for domestic violence.

BSO’s Special Victims and Crime Scene units are investigating.
