A woman from Crescent City was arrested on murder charges after a man was stabbed in Reddick Saturday morning.
Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested H, 33. Deputies said they responded to a home along West Highway 318 just after 3 a.m. and found a man suffering from a stab wound. He died at the scene, deputies said.
According to the arrest report, H was visiting this victim and his wife at their house. As the trio was drinking, an argument broke out in which H accused the victim’s wife of sleeping with her boyfriend.
The victim broke up the argument and sent his wife outside to separate the two women. The wife says she heard the victim yell for her to call 911.
When she came back inside, she saw the victim bleeding and gasping for air. 911 operators heard H mocking the women as she begged law enforcement for help.
“Yeah, I’m going to f******* kill her a**, I’m sorry,” H is heard saying on the 911 call.
During the call, the other woman managed to wrestle the knife away from H.
Deputies found H at the scene and took her into custody. She was charged with second-degree murder and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. She’s being held without bond.
