Martin County Fire Rescue responds to fire at Wendy’s on Jensen Beach Boulevard

Martin County Fire Rescue units responded to a fire at a Wendy’s on Jensen Beach Boulevard, according to Martin County Fire Rescue.

MCFR says that at around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, units were called after reports of smoke and visible flames coming from inside of a Wendy’s restaurant on 1409 NE Jensen Beach Boulevard.

Upon arrival, firefighters found white smoke coming from the AC unit on the roof and light to moderate smoke inside the building.

Firefighters located the AC unit and noticed the fan motor had burned-out, MCFR said. The building was safely evacuated, no injuries were reported and no nearby structures were threatened.
