4 charged with murder after deadly Okaloosa County shooting

Four people have been arrested in connection with a shooting that killed a 20-year-old man. It happened near Fort Walton Beach on Sept. 15 around 1:30 p.m.

The four arrested are 18-year-old B, 19-year-old W., 20-year-old L and 17-year-old P. All four face murder charges stemming from an attempted robbery.

According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting happened outside an apartment complex off Rickey Avenue and David Street.


The injured victim was able to drive to a nearby gas station and then was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
