Marion County Fire Rescue crews extinguish mobile home fire in Dunnellon

One person was sent to the hospital after a mobile home in Dunnellon went up in flames Tuesday afternoon.

Marion County Fire Rescue officials say multiple crews responded to the 10000 block of Southwest 151st Place due to reports of a structure fire.

When they arrived at 1:36 p.m., a mobile home was 50% engulfed in flames.

Crews had the fire under control by 1:59 p.m. and they remained on scene for overhaul and mop-up operations.

One person was taken to the hospital for medical care.

No firefighter injuries were reported.
