One driver has died following a late-night crash in Chiefland.
During the late-night hours Friday, deputies and fire rescue responded to a three-vehicle crash on State Road 320, west of NW 14th St.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a sedan occupied by a 25-year-old man was traveling east on State Road 320 when it crossed the center line and drove into the path of a westbound sedan causing them to collide.
A large piece of debris from the crash struck a pickup truck that was behind the westbound sedan.
The sedan that caused the crash ended up overturned on the shoulder of the road. According to Chiefland Fire Rescue, extrication was done on both vehicles.
The 25-year-old was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead while the two occupants of the other sedan were also transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
