A 14-year-old boy was shot Thursday afternoon in St. Petersburg, according to police.
The teen was near 20th Avenue South and 44th Street South when another group fired several shots, police said.
The teen went to a nearby house for help.
He was taken to John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in critical but stable condition, police said.
No other details were immediately available.
