A motorcyclist died after striking a vehicle in the Lakeshore area on Sunday afternoon, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
JSO said the accident happened at 1:54 p.m. at 4200 Roosevelt Boulevard.
Officials said the motorcycle was traveling north on Roosevelt Boulevard when the car pulled out from a side street into the motorcycle’s path, causing it to strike the driver‘s side of the car.
Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department took the man to a hospital where he died.
Investigators are still interviewing witnesses.
JSO said this is the 15th traffic death of 2025.
