Detectives are looking for information after an aggravated assault incident occurred over the weekend at DeLeon Springs, according to a Facebook post by the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident happened at a gathering in the woods off Apalachicola Circle and Spring Garden Avenue. Two people were battered by multiple others and had to go to the hospital afterward to be treated for their injuries, the sheriff’s office wrote.
Detectives have been interviewing witnesses and are trying to identify those involved.
