A man was arrested on Thursday after he was accused of attempting to murder his roommate during an argument.
According to the affidavit, Police responded to reports of a stabbing after an argument broke out between D J. F, 36, and his roommate around 8:40 p.m.
During this time, the affidavit said that F used a knife to stab the victim through the right side of his neck, extending through to the left side and puncturing their trachea in the process.
The victim, who sustained life-threatening injuries that required surgery, told officers the suspect’s name before being sedated.
St. Petersburg Police arrested F and charged him with attempted murder in the second degree.
