A driver was taken into custody after a brief chase and crash.
It happened just after 3 p.m. on Saturday at the intersection of Northwest 103rd Street and Northwest 2nd Court in Miami-Dade County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, this all started after a trooper noticed a vehicle driving erratically as it was exiting Interstate 95.
When that trooper attempted to make a traffic stop, the driver took off and eventually crashed outside a home.
Home surveillance video captured the ending of the incident.
In the video, a man identified by authorities as 41-year-old ADL is seen exiting the vehicle in an attempt to outrun police.
Photos taken by neighbors show the black Nissan Maxima that L allegedly crashed into the home’s yard.
L is seen in the video jumping fences while attempting to evade deputies.
After setting up a perimeter, Miami-Dade sheriff’s deputies found the man and arrested him.
L now faces six felony charges related to the incident.
Deputies say he was driving with a suspended license and had six prior convictions for the same offense.
Those charges include fleeing and eluding police, reckless driving, and leaving the scene of a crash.
The homeowners were seen cleaning up the mess Sunday afternoon, thankful that nobody was in the yard when the car came barreling through.
