The DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man on Sunday in connection to a deadly stabbing in Arcadia.
According to a Facebook post from DCSO, deputies responded to the scene in the area of SW Highway 17 and SW MLK Street.
When deputies arrived, they said they found the victim with stab wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at this scene.
DCSO said the suspect, identified as 47-year-old C M-L, returned to the scene where he was placed under arrest on a murder charge.
Gulf Coast News crews on the scene said it was a very active scene as there are at least 21 evidence markers placed around.
