A person is dead after being struck by a vehicle while running on MacDill Air Force Base on Wednesday.
The incident happened at 7:16 a.m.
According to a release, first aid was administered at the scene until the person was taken to Tampa General Hospital, where they later died.
The name of the victim has not been released.
This is an ongoing investigation.
