A fire at the Harbor Belle RV Resort in Punta Gorda left two mobile homes severely damaged and killed a cat Friday night.
According to Charlotte County Fire & EMS, crews responded to a call for a residential structure fire along Baynard Drive at approximately 7:35 p.m.
Officials said one person had a “very minor injury,” and no hospital transport was needed. However, one cat died in the fire, and two homes are now uninhabitable.
Charlotte County Fire & EMS said crews received assistance from the Punta Gorda Fire Department.
The county fire marshal determined this was an undetermined accidental fire.
