Officers responded to a call on Tuesday evening of a physical disturbance where a male victim had been injured.
According to officials, upon arrival the officers found the victim suffering from a deep cut on the back of his neck. The victim and witnesses present at the scene reported that he had been struck with a hatchet.
The suspect, 47-year-old ES had departed before officers arrived, officials wrote.
The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office located the suspect, and after interviews, he was arrested.
S is charged with Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon and Robbery with a Weapon.
