A Lake City woman is dead after being hit by a pickup truck Wednesday night.
According to Florida Highway Patrol troopers, The driver of the pickup truck was traveling north on US Highway 441 near Northwest Quinten Street just before 8:30 p.m.
A 54-year-old woman was walking in the lane on US Highway 441 when the driver of the pickup truck hit the woman.
Troopers said the woman died at the scene. FHP is investigating the crash.
