21-year-old motorcyclist killed in crash with tow truck on I-4 in Volusia County

A 21-year-old DeLand man was killed Monday night when his motorcycle crashed into the back of a tow truck on Interstate 4 in Volusia County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The fatal wreck happened around 8:15 p.m. on I-4 west at mile marker 119 near State Road 44.

The FHP said the DeLand man was riding his motorcycle west on I-4 when he changed lanes, failed to observe a tow truck ahead of him and struck the back of it.
