A West Palm Beach man is behind bars after a friendly trip to get tacos ended with a pistol-whipping and 10 staples.
On Sunday, a 911 call came through in which a man could be heard saying “Junior don’t do it.”
Deputies arrived at the source of the call, a home near the 500 block of Dogwood Road in Westgate where the suspects, 32-year-old O G-G and 33-year-old JG-G told police they were involved in an altercation.
The men told deputies that two additional men were also involved with one of the men pistol-whipping O and threatening to kill him.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, O was transported to the hospital for his injuries where he spoke with investigators.
O told deputies that he was hanging out with his brother, J I C, and R T.
According to the arrest report, when he left to get tacos 27-year-old C and T approached him and began fighting. When O put C in a headlock C began pulling his hair and hitting him in the head while threatening to kill him.
O told deputies that It was at this point that realized he had a pistol pointed at him.
C then struck Omar repeatedly in the head to the point that he required 10 staples.
J told deputies that R yelled “stop, stop, stop,” to no avail.
Police found probable cause to charge C with aggravated battery with a firearm and aggravated assault with a firearm.
