WEST PARK, Fla. – A man was stabbed late Tuesday night while riding a bus in Broward County, authorities confirmed to Local 10 on Wednesday.
The stabbing was reported around 11:50 p.m. in the 2700 block of South State Road 7 in West Park.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, the victim was stabbed multiple times by a fellow passenger.
The attacker then fled the scene, authorities said.
Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Michael Kane confirmed to Local 10 News that the victim was transported as a trauma alert to Memorial Regional Hospital.
Kane said the victim is about 30 years old.
His condition has not been released.
Detectives with BSO’s Crime Scene and Violent Crimes Units are investigating the circumstances surrounding the stabbing.
