A 25-year-old Ocoee man died early Friday in a motorcycle crash on Hammock Ridge Road in Clermont, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers responded to the wreck at 6:43 a.m. near Lake Louisa Road.
According to a crash report, the motorcyclist was heading south on Hammock Ridge Lane and failed to negotiate the curve and ran off the roadway.
He hit the curb and was thrown from the motorcycle, troopers said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers said there is roadblock in the southbound lanes of Hammock Ridge Road.
An investigation is ongoing.
