2 people trapped, injured in Daytona Beach jeep crash

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. —

The Daytona Beach Fire Department responded to a three-vehicle accident in Daytona Beach on Sunday that left one vehicle overturned with two people trapped inside.

When DBFD arrived on the scene, located on West International Speedway Boulevard near the Clyde Morris Intersection, firefighters immediately stabilized the vehicle and began extrication and patient care.

Two patients were transported to the hospital by Volusia County EMS as trauma alerts.

The Daytona Beach Police Department is investigating the incident.
