MIAMI – Miami police are investigating after they say two women were stabbed Monday morning in the city’s Allapattah neighborhood.
Officers responded around 9 a.m. to the 3600 block of Northwest 20th Avenue, where they found two women suffering from apparent stab wounds, authorities said.
Miami Fire Rescue crews transported both victims to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, according to investigators. Their ages, identities, or conditions have not been released at this time.
Sky 10 flew over the scene, where five police cruisers were parked outside what appeared to be an apartment building in the area.
Detectives said they’re working to determine whether the stabbing was domestic-related.
They also confirmed that the investigation remains ongoing.
