A vehicle burst into flames Sunday at a shopping plaza in The Villages.
The Villages Public Safety Department responded to the vehicle fire at about 11 a.m. near Walgreens at Pinellas Plaza.
Two people were quickly evacuated from the truck as firefighters worked to put out the fire and to protect the nearby commercial structure.
“Once the fire was out, crews began overhauling to make sure the fire was completely extinguished,” said Robert Ramage, deputy chief of operations for VPSD.
There were no injuries.
“The exact cause of the fire is undetermined. The fire was not deemed suspicious,” Ramage added.
