Mobile home fire in Micanopy leaves no injuries

Officials with Alachua County Fire Rescue (ACFR) said no injuries were reported at a mobile home fire in Micanopy Sunday afternoon.

Officials told TV20 they responded at 3:39 to the home on the 13000 block of Southeast 8th Terrace near Lake Wauberg, to the home fully engulfed in flames.

ACFR officials said the resident was not home at the time and appeared not to have been home for some days, and that the home is considered a total loss.

They said they have not determined the cause of the fire, but their investigation is complete because it does not seem suspicious.
