MDSO seeks information about hit-and-run crash that left man dead

The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office is seeking information from the public about a hit-and-run crash that left a 32-year-old man dead.

According to deputies, the crash happened around 5:53 a.m. last Saturday as the victim, EER, was crossing the intersection of Northwest 25th Street and 95th Avenue while riding his bicycle.

Deputies said ER was struck by an unknown vehicle that was heading west on 25th Street.

Authorities said the driver fled the scene without ever stopping to help ER.

The suspect vehicle was described by deputies as a black, 2013-2017 GMC Arcadia or Chevrolet Traverse with damage to the left side mirror.

Anyone with information about the hit-and-run is asked to call MDSO Traffic Homicide Deputy M. Nieto at 305-471-2400. Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
