No citations were issued in a two-vehicle accident Monday on Highway 34.
According to a Union County report, at approximately 6:14 a.m., a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by Taylor C. Hunt, 31, of Osceola, was westbound on Highway 34 when it struck a 2014 GMC Sierra, driven by Ronald L. Belden, 65, of Dexter, who was southbound on Three Mile Creek Drive, crossing the highway.
Belden said he had stopped at the stop sign and looked but did not see the Jeep and pulled out in front of it.
Damages to the Jeep and GMC were estimated at $5,000 each.
