A man from Alabama died and two others suffered injuries in a single-vehicle crash in Florida on New Year’s Day, WEAR news reports.
The crash happened around 12:30 a.m. in Escambia County, about 500 feet from the Alabama state line.
The report did not provide name of the man who died, but it said he was 56 and from Bay Minette.
The man was a passenger in a vehicle that struck a raised pedestrian crosswalk, according to WEAR.
The 23-year-old driver, who is also from Bay Minette, and a 23-year-old passenger from Gulf Shores were injured, the report said.
