Traffic on I-95 southbound was at a standstill Tuesday morning after two commercial vehicles overturned in a crash, blocking all lanes of I-95 southbound north of World Golf Village.
Sky4 video showed what appeared to be two work trucks, at least one of which had a cherry picker device, overturned on the highway. Both trucks belong to Davey Trees.
The Florida Highway Patrol said a personal vehicle was also involved in the crash and two people were injured. At least one was flown by helicopter to a hospital.
The crash also involved a fuel leak, FHP said.
All southbound lanes of I-95 southbound are shut down and traffic was diverted to County Road 210. Traffic that was trapped between the CR 210 exit and the crash is slowly passing using the left shoulder.
All lanes were reopened by the afternoon.
St. Johns County deputies and St. Johns County Fire Rescue were on the scene, along with FHP, DOT and environmental specialists.
