Argument between 2 men leaves 1 dead in Pinellas Park: police

An argument between two men that broke out while at their girlfriends’ Pinellas Park home left one of them dead, and the other behind bars.

On Sunday evening, the Pinellas Park Police Department responded to reports of gunfire at a home, located at 3531 Applewood Terrace North.

Police said 22-year-old JV-L and 45-year-old SMJr. were at the home of their girlfriends’ when an argument broke out between the two men.

As M was leaving the home, V-L grabbed a firearm and shot the 45-year-old multiple times, according to officials. M was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.

Detectives arrested V-L on a charge of second-degree murder.
