A 28-year-old Arizona man was arrested for hitting an Escambia County deputy’s vehicle while under the influence on Saturday.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, JKC of Chandler, Arizona, faces hit-and-run and DUI charges.
At around 5:12 p.m., a trooper was called out to Navy Boulevard and Sunset Avenue. The trooper made contact with the deputy whose vehicle was struck by C.
The deputy said C’s vehicle was found. He was detained at Elizabeth Street and Hawthorn Drive.
C was released from the Escambia County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
