At least 2 people, including a 3-year-old, injured after being hit by car in Fort Myers Shores


A 3-year-old and a 30-year-old were both injured after they were struck by a vehicle at West Cypress Avenue and 5th Street in Fort Myers Shores.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, troopers are on scene sorting out the situation, but they confirmed one adult and a young child were injured.

Troopers were called to the scene at approximately 7:40 p.m. Wednesday.
