ATV rider dies days after crashing into West Palm Beach home

A West Palm Beach man died this week from injuries sustained in an ATV crash that occurred earlier this month, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the crash report, the fatal collision happened on December 16 at about 9:31 p.m. when Cade Patrick Randolph, 20, was riding a Kawasaki Prairie westbound on Melaleuca Road near Rose Circle. Investigators reported that Randolph failed to stop at a stop sign, continued onto the sidewalk, and entered the front yard of a home at 1439 Rose Circle. The ATV struck the front of the residence, causing severe injuries to Randolph.

Randolph was transported from the scene to St. Mary’s Medical Center in critical condition. On December 23 at 2:09 p.m., he succumbed to his injuries, according to the sheriff’s office.

The report noted that Randolph was not using any safety equipment at the time of the crash.
