Authorities found the vehicle involved in a deadly hit-and-run in Bradford County

UPDATE: The Florida Highway Patrol identified the victim as a 70-year-old man from Crestview, Florida. FHP says the vehicle that hit him was found and charges are pending, but it is unclear if the female driver was located. ORIGINAL STORY: The Bradford County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a hit-and-run driver after a cyclist was killed Monday.

Sheriff’s deputies say a man riding a bicycle was hit and killed near the intersection of Southeast 11th Avenue and State Road 100 South in Theressa, north of Keystone Heights.

After the crash, the car drove off in the direction of Clay County.

Deputies describe the vehicle as a grey sedan driven by a woman in her 20s. The car may have extensive windshield damage.

FHP Troopers sent a news release tonight saying the Sedan has been found and charges are pending.

It is still unclear if they found the woman or if she has been arrested.
