Bicyclist killed in Tampa after cutting in front of driver: Florida Highway Patrol

A bicyclist is dead after he cut in front of a driver on US-41 in Tampa Saturday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

At 8:50 p.m., a 28-year-old Riverview woman was traveling northbound on US-41 in a Toyota RAV4.

Just south of Pennsylvania Avenue, troopers said a 61-year-old Gibsonton man on a bike traveled into the path of the Toyota.

The bicyclist died at the scene of the crash. The woman was not injured.
